6,200 twin cities students visit Inl expo on environment.


ISLAMABAD, October 17, 2009 (Balochistan Times): As many as 6,200 students from 75 public and private sectors educational institutions of the twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad visited the International Expo on Environment held here at a local girls college from Oct 2-16. She said the expo has already travelled to a number of countries in Europe, Africa, Asia and Latin America Latin America, the Spanish-speaking, Portuguese-speaking, and French-speaking countries (except Canada) of North America, South America, Central America, and the West Indies.  will also be held in Sukkur and Multan. The expo is a part of PSF science promotion activities and celebration of National Year of Environment 2009. It is aimed at raising students awareness of the urgency to act if we are to save our earth for our future generations, she remarked. The exhibition is structured around three major themes including Living with Our Environment, Tomorrows Consumption and Production and Responsible Sharing of Resources, said Ms. Rajpar.
