5th Annual Miva Conference Heats Up with New Surprise Content and a Great Roster of Industry Experts.

Miva Conference 2004, being held at the Bahia Resort Hotel, San Diego, CA from September 22nd - 25th, is the fifth annual gathering of the entire Miva community, from online merchants to developers, web designers and web hosts. It's designed as a venue for sharing knowledge about the Miva platform, and for learning about new services, techniques and technologies in the Miva-enabled e-commerce world. Miva Conference is for anyone who is new to Miva Merchant, and for those who are looking to expand their already successful online businesses.

New Sessions This Year:

Miva Merchant 5 and the new Miva E-Commerce API, a discussion with the Miva Development team, featuring Miva's vice president of software development, Jonathan Burchmore, will assemble in front of the general audience to field questions about the upcoming release of Miva Merchant 5. Miva Merchant 5 will debut with five significant new features: streaming update service, wysiwyg store layout editor, template designer, mySQL database support and multimedia distribution system. Among the powerful new features, Miva Merchant 5 offers new opportunities for third-party software developers and web designers to expand their businesses.

Building the State of the Art in Miva Merchant Hosting, will feature a panel of representatives from Miva's hosting partners, and will focus on what online merchants need to build their online businesses. The panel will field questions from the audience about how hosts can build a better environment for their customers who use Miva Merchant.
