5G Wireless is on the agenda at the 7th Annual Broadband Wireless World Conference and Exhibition being held April 21 - 22 at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas. The event, whose theme this year is "Delivering the Future of Broadband Wireless - featuring the WiMAX Experience," will be attended by over 1300 industry professionals. Carl Weisman will be speaking April 21 during the "Broadband for the People" track, which will focus on technology for community networks. His presentation, "The Community as MegaCampus - Lessons Learned From University Wi-Fi Deployments," will feature what the company has learned from the installation and administration of its C-WANs(TM) (Campus-Wide Area Networks). He will also discuss the Top 10 myths associated with creating a wireless environment.

5G Wireless Solutions is also scheduled to speak at the 12th annual Syllabus 2005 HigherEducation Technology Conference being held July 24 - 28 at the Renaissance Hollywood Hotel in Los Angeles. Mr. Weisman will be presenting during the "Institutional Strategies - The View for the Visionary" track where infrastructure and capital planning issues will be addressed. His presentation, "From Campus Hot Spots to Campus-Wide Hot Zone," will feature a case study from one of the country's largest campuses, Cal State University at Long Beach (CSULB), where integrating fragmentary, departmental LANs under an integrated C-WAN has sparked a number of advanced wireless applications.

Carl Weisman, Sr. Engineer at 5G Wireless Solutions, will be presenting on behalf of the company. Mr. Weisman is the author of "The Essential Guide to RF and Wireless" (Prentice Hall, 2002), which is becoming one of the industry's standard texts. He started his career at Hughes Aircraft Company as a design engineer working on radar for fighter aircraft. During his nine-year service there, he was awarded the Hughes Fellowship, which enabled him to pursue an MSEE from the University of Southern California.
