.A)(TSX:FBS.pr.A) announced today that it has declared a quarterly dividend on its Preferred Shares of $0.34375 per Preferred Share and on its Capital Shares of $0.265 per Capital Share. The Capital Share dividend has been set based on the current level of dividend rates on the Portfolio Shares and on the currently anticipated level of operating expenses for 5Banc Split Inc. The dividends are payable on December 15, 2005 to holders of record on December 1, 2005.

5Banc Split was established to generate dividend income for the Preferred Shares while providing holders of the Capital Shares with a leveraged opportunity to participate in capital appreciation from a portfolio of common shares of Bank of Montreal “BMO” redirects here.
