School and Business Alliance honored 58 local teachers this week for their creativity and innovation in the development of School-to-Career curriculum. More than 200 teachers from area schools applied for the grants and 53 projects were awarded funding, Kerman said. A total of $51,530 was provided to local schools this year through the program. In addition to the grant program, the Alliance administers School-to-Career Site Grants for every junior and senior high school, provides educational training opportunities for teaching professionals. |
