School and Business Alliance honored 58 local teachers this week for their creativity and innovation in the development of School-to-Career curriculum. See Synonyms at enrapture. with the number of grant applications we received and the number of projects which were developed as a result of the Incentive Grant program,'' said Ann Kerman, executive director of the School and Business Alliance. More than 200 teachers from area schools applied for the grants and 53 projects were awarded funding, Kerman said. A total of $51,530 was provided to local schools this year through the program. In addition to the grant program, the Alliance administers School-to-Career Site Grants for every junior and senior high school, provides educational training opportunities for teaching professionals. |
