She was honored recently as the most senior of those 55 and older who circle the interior of the mall for exercise before the shops open for business. More than 60 were honored for walking 500 miles or more. Each got a T-shirt proclaiming ``I walked 500 miles at the Antelope Valley Mall'' and bearing the image of a sweating tortoise tortoise (tôr`təs), common name for a terrestrial turtle, especially one of the family Testudinidae. Tortoises inhabit warm regions of all continents except Australia. . Sukert also got a bouquet bouquet a structure resembling a cluster of flowers. and a tiara. Ten in the group have walked more than 1,000 miles at the mall. The highest mileage was 3,150, accumulated since T-shirts were last given out about three years ago.
