50 killed in series of Iraqi car bombings.


A SERIES of car bombings in the northern Iraqi city of Mosul killed at least 50 people and injured in·jure

1. To cause physical harm to; hurt.

Khalid Mohammed, an official at the al-Jumhuri hospital, said dozens had been brought to the hospital, which itself was subjected to attack.

At least 50 died and 170 were injured, he said.
