 in Lower Manhattan Lower Manhattan is the southernmost part of the island of Manhattan, the main island and center of business and government of the City of New York. Lower Manhattan is generally defined as the area delineated on the north by Chambers Street, on the west by the Hudson River (North , Rudin Management Company reports that approximately 50,000 s/f of lease transactions have been recently consummated at the Rudin family's 27-story tower at 110 Wall Street.

In the largest transaction, the law firm of Garson, Gerspach, Decorato & Cohen cohen

The firm, which is currently located at One Wall Street Court, expects to take occupancy of its new facilities before the end of the year.

"We're delighted that this prestigious downtown firm has not only decided to build and grow its practice in Lower Manhattan, but that it has also chosen 110 Wall Street as its new home," stated William C. Rudin, President of Rudin Management Company, the operating arm of the Rudin Family holdings.

Mitchell Waldman of Cogent COGENT - COmpiler and GENeralized Translator  Realty Advisors, Inc. represented the law firm in the long-term leasing transaction. Gene Baumstein, Vice President of Rudin Management Co., represented the landlord.

In other leasing transactions at 110 Wall Street, law firm Smith Campbell, LLP, represented by R.B. Schlesinger LLC (Logical Link Control) See "LANs" under data link protocol.

, has moved from 1 Whitehall Street to 7,700 s/f on the 19th floor; Enterasys Network, Inc., presently located at 1 Penn Plaza, has leased part of the 5th floor comprising 7,987 s/f through John Peters and Joseph Fabrizi of Cushman & Wakefield, Inc.; and law firm Rosner, Nocera & Ragone LLP, currently at 40 Wall Street, has taken 7,929 s/f comprising the entire 23rd floor.

The firm was also represented by Mr. Peters of Cushman & Wakefield. In two additional expansion moves within the building, softwear provider Scivantage, Inc. has doubled its space by leasing 7,929 s/f on the 18th floor and the Women's Leadership Fund, represented by Elinore Carrington Lyon of Cushman & Wakefield, has expanded from 2,200 s/f to 3,859 s/f on the 16th floor.
