A 32-year-old man died in a single car accident at Tyrrellspass, Co Westmeath, yesterday morning. The name of the victim, who died at the scene, has not been released. On Saturday night 84-year-old Margaret Conroy, from Lough Mask She was taken to Mayo General Hospital in Castlebar where she was pronounced dead at 9.25pm. Gardai are appealing for any witnesses to the incident. Meanwhile, Ena Pogue, of Poles, Co Cavan, also 84, lost her life in a collision on the N3 on Friday. |
