5 CONCERTS SET FOR ORCHESTRA-CHORALE SEASON.

He has also played with the Los Angeles Opera and is concertmaster of the Santa Clarita Symphony. , contest-winning artists and the orchestra will perform the Timeless Treasures concert Feb. 12. Orchestra and chorale artistic director David Newby said Anassian will perform with the winners of the second annual Bach competition, to be held Jan. 22.

Members of the Antelope Valley Master Chorale Children's Chorus will be special guests for the choir showcase, Newby said.

Tickets are $13 for adults, $12 for senior citizens and $7 for children for each concert. Season tickets for all five concerts are available at $50 for any adult, including a senior citizen, and $25 for those younger than 18. A three-concerts subscription is available at $33 for any adult and $18 for children.

Tickets are available at the Lancaster Performing Arts Center box office and can be purchased over the telephone at (661) 723-5950.

The Antelope Valley Symphony Orchestra and Master Chorale concerts are sustained partly by donations from Founder Circle members, Newby said.

One can join the circle as a friend for a donation up to $99. The donation is $100 to $499 for the Bronze Circle, $500 to $999 for the Silver Circle, $1,000 to $4,999 for the Gold Circle and $5,000 to $9,999 for the Platinum Circle. Diamond Circle givers donate $10,000 or more.
