RAFA BENITEZ isn't the first manager to publicly let rip.

Here's a reminder of some of other famous outbursts.

JOE KINNEAR Joe Kinnear (born December 27, 1946 in Dublin) is a football manager. Playing career
Joe Kinnear played football as a full back for Tottenham Hotspur and the Republic of Ireland national team.
 

October 2008: After being made interim manager at Newcastle, Kinnear swore 52 times as he laid into the media for saying he hadn't turned up for training on his first day. He said to one journalist: "You are out of order. Absolutely f****** out of order. If you do it again, I am telling you, you can f*** off."

KEVIN KEEGAN Joseph Kevin Keegan, OBE (born February 14, 1951 in Armthorpe, Doncaster, England)[1] is a former English football manager and is regarded as one of the all-time greatest British football players.  

May 1996: Alex Ferguson got Keegan wound up as a championship battle between Manchester United and Newcastle reached its peak.

Keegan said: "I'll tell you now because he'll be watching this - we're still fighting for this title and he's still got to go to Middlesbrough and get something. I'd love it if we beat them. Love it."

CRAIG LEVEIN Craig William Levein (born 22 October 1964 in Dunfermline) is a Scottish former professional footballer and current football manager. Levein currently manages Scottish Premier League club Dundee United.  

May 2008: The Dundee United boss cracked up over referee Mike McCurry's performance during a 3-1 defeat to Rangers. He said: "Mike McCurry could have phoned me at home this morning and said, 'Look, Rangers are going to get the three points, just stay in the house'."

RON ATKINSON

March 1996: Atkinson reacted furiously to being told on Sky he couldn't save Coventry from relegation.

Before throwing his headphones at a producer and storming off, he said: "You can sit there and play with all your silly machines. Thanks lads, goodnight."

ALEX FERGUSON
