5 000 T/A Hexabasic Alcohol Project to Be Constructed in Guangxi.

The feasibility study report of a 5 000 t/a hexabasic alcohol project has recently passed examination in Guangxi Nanning.

The project will have a total investment of 29.43 million yuan. After the start of production, the annual sales revenue will be 53.94 million yuan and the annual amount of profit and tax will be 19.13 million yuan. The project will be constructed by Nanning Chemical Pharmaceutical Factory. The technology is advanced and mature and the equipment is well selected. The project will use sugar-cane as raw material, opening up a new way for sugar-cane deep processing. The final product is mannitol with an annual output of 1 000 tons. The product has a price far lower than the product using the conventional laminaria extraction process and can therefore have strong market competitiveness.
