The meeting also discussed the company's performance during last year. A company spokesman said LIC (International) settled 5,000 claims, worth $47,654,439, last year. "Income on investment for the year was $23,811,223 and till August this year, it was $14,679,934," the spokesman said. He said it was $13,630,307 till the end of August last year. The chairman also honoured 10 of Bahrain's agents for having come into the Million Dollar Round Table category for their outstanding performances.
