Commenting on the record third quarter performance, Al Kahn, Chief Executive Officer of 4Kids Entertainment, said, "I am pleased to announce another successful quarter where we exceeded our expectations.

"While we continue to realize strong steady revenue from Pokemon(TM), we are at the same time developing new properties for presentation to the trade. For the Fall 2000 season to date, the Pokemon(TM) television show ranks in the US as the number one kids series of all regularly scheduled kids programs on either network or cable. Revenues from Pokemon The Movie 2000 have not yet been reflected in our financial results. We expect to see 4Kids share of domestic box office receipts reflected at least in part, in the fourth quarter. The Pokemon The Movie 2000 home video is slated for release to the domestic market in November 2000, and the international theatrical release is scheduled for December 2000.

"In Europe, Pokemon(TM) continues to be one of the most popular children's TV shows in all major markets. Record Nintendo video game sales are driving merchandising merchandising
