- New E-Business Customers Include Ericsson and SEB -

4Front Technologies, Inc. (&uot;4Front&uot;) (Nasdaq NM/EASDAQ Symbol: FFTI) today announced important new e-business contracts worth over $750,000, bringing 4Front's total e-business order book since announcing its new e-business initiatives in December 1999 to approximately $2 million.

Among the new contracts are two consulting and implementation contracts won by 4Front Sweden totalling approximately $500,000. The first contract is with Ericsson Radio (&uot;Ericsson&uot;), one of the world's leading telecom and wireless companies and the second is with SEB Trygg Liv, a division of SEB (Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken), a leading Swedish bank. For Ericsson, 4Front will be managing a WAP (Wireless Application Protocol) e-business project and for SEB 4Front will be managing an e-business project related to the sale of life insurance over the net. Other contracts won include a $125,000 e-business security contract won by 4Front Germany from a leading bank.

As 4Front's pure e-business activities develop according to plan, other areas of 4Front's business have been benefiting from the rapidly accelerating growth of e-business across Europe. Among recent new customers for services elsewhere in the 4Front group are e-business companies such as Amazon.com and InterVoice-Brite, which have contracted with 4Front for network and support services.
