OMNI MULTIMEDIA GROUP, INC.(AMEX/PSE: OMG) subsidiary, 4CDs Corporation, today announced sales results for July 1997 which surpassed total sales in fiscal year 1997 for the subsidiary. Furthermore, the subsidiary achieved profitability for the first time during this sales month. 4CDs' achievements are due largely to the early success of its "Try-Before-You Buy" CD-ROM encryption program which provides an alternate distribution channel for software publishes and allows consumers to try full-version software products before purchasing. 4CDs Corporation is also experiencing increased sales from its online shopping site, the 4CDs Multimedia Internet Catalog (www.4cds.com) which offers thousands of software and hardware products.

4CDs Corporation distributes its "Try-Before-You Buy" compact discs on newsstand copies of popular computer magazines such as PC World. Agreements with publishing companies like IDG as well as distribution relationships with major entertainment, hardware/software companies and online server providers, are fueling 4CDs' success in the developing electronic commerce market.
