BOSSES at Lloyds TSB Lloyds TSB Group plc (LSE: LLOY) is a banking and insurance group in the United Kingdom. It was formed in 1995 by the merger of Lloyds Bank and the Trustee Savings Bank (TSB). The Group's head office is at 25 Gresham Street, London.  are to close five of their UK centres - with the loss of 465 jobs.

The closures will affect back-office administration workers in Swansea Swansea, town, United States

, Plymouth, Cardiff, Stockton and Taunton.

Lloyds TSB said they would look for alternative jobs for those involved as part of plans to switch work to larger company sites, including offices in Glasgow, Manchester and Birmingham.

Bosses denied claims from unions that the job losses were linked to the company's use of offices in India. Lloyds TSB intend to transfer up to 1000 jobs to India by the end of next year
