New executives bring decades of success from leading telecom/media

players including Cingular, Nextel and Viacom to the company that is

422, Inc., the leader in the emerging wireless directory assistance (WDA) market, today announced three strong additions to its management team as it prepares for commercial launch. Bob Gordon, a twenty-year communications industry veteran has joined the company as CEO. James Mooney and Edward Horowitz, both long-standing industry leaders, have joined the Board.

As CEO, Gordon has responsibility for the overall direction, operation and success of 422. Prior to joining the company, Gordon served as Eastern region president for Cingular where he established wireless operations. Earlier, he was the president of a major-market wireless carrier and formerly led a top tier Cable Television MSO as its chief executive.
