Gregg Lewison, task force coordinator for the Santa Clarita Valley The Santa Clarita Valley is the valley of the Santa Clara River in Southern California. It stretches through Los Angeles County and Ventura County. Its main population center is the city of Santa Clarita. The valley was part of the 48,612-acre (19,672. station. Patrol units photographed the incendiary devices before taking them to fire battalion headquarters for disposal. Lewison said some photographs showed the hood of a car covered with fireworks. ``In some of the more active neighborhoods, it just seemed like they had lookouts so they knew when we were coming and we didn't find anything,'' he said. ``What we took in were all illegal fireworks: Roman candles, skyrockets and bottle rockets, mortars and hundreds and hundreds of firecrackers.'' One juvenile was arrested for possession of illegal fireworks; he was cited and released to his parents in the field, Lewison said.
