4 TEENS SUSPECTED IN FIRES; ARSON INVESTIGATORS REQUESTING CHARGES.

Fire officials said four teen-age boys have been linked to three fires and an explosion last February and March in Central Park.

In an unrelated case, an Aug. 5 house fire in the 8400 block of Bay Avenue was determined to have been caused by children ages 4, 6 and 9 playing with a cigarette lighter in a bedroom closet. One child suffered minor burns trying to put out the fire, Hayes said.
