4 HOSPITALIZED IN UNRELATED SHOOTINGS.Byline: Greg Botonis Staff Writer LANCASTER - A string of unrelated shootings in the past two days, including an attempted murder-suicide by a man who shot his wife, then himself, has left four people hospitalized. All of the shooting victims are reported to be in stable condition, officials said. ``We're still waiting on reports, but they appear to be unrelated,'' said Deputy Mark Round of the Lancaster sheriff's station. The first shooting occurred Wednesday about 8:30 p.m. in the 3100 block of Pearlwood Drive in Lancaster as the 26-year-old husband argued with his 25-year-old wife in front of their home, deputies said. The altercation became physical and neighbors called sheriff's deputies. By the time deputies arrived, the man had already produced a gun and shot his wife and then himself. Both were in serious but stable condition after being airlifted to a hospital, officials said.
