4 HELD IN KILLING OF MAN.

Three women and a man were arrested late Wednesday night as part of a homicide homicide (hŏm`əsīd), in law, the taking of human life. Homicides that are neither justifiable nor excusable are considered crimes. A criminal homicide committed with malice is known as murder, otherwise it is called manslaughter.  investigation into the slaying of a Palmdale man found beaten to death in a parked car, sheriff's officials said.

Police arrested Stephanie Avalos, 32; Monica Gamboa, 39; Monica Castanon, 39; and Lloyd Turner James Lloyd Turner, or Lloyd Turner, (1885 in Elmvale, Ontario - 1976) was a Canadian sports promoter who was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1958 as a builder. , 28. All are from Palmdale. Avalos is being held on suspicion of murder, Gamboa and Turner on suspicion of possession of cocaine for sale, and Castanon for traffic violations, officials said.

. Officials said other charges are pending but would not elaborate.

Officials would not give any details of the homicide except to say it was related to drugs.
