3rd Annual ``Run4Kids'' May 14 Benefits Tennessee Baptist Children's Homes; Billy Ray and Tish Cyrus to Serve as Race Ambassadors.BRENTWOOD, Tenn. -- Billy Ray Cyrus and wife Tish are serving as race ambassadors for the third annual "Run4Kids" fun race May 14. In its third year to benefit the children and youth of the Tennessee Baptist Children's Homes, Inc. (TBCH TBCH Turbo Bose-Chaudhuri-Hocquenghem (coding scheme) ), the event offers a 5K race/walk for adults and a kid's one mile race. Around 400 runners are expected for the race on the campus of the Tennessee Baptist Children's Homes, Inc. on Franklin Road in Williamson County Williamson County is the name of three counties in the United States:

Tish has a special connection to this event, having been raised as an adopted child. Billy Ray appeared with Tish at a kick off luncheon April 4th for area participating churches who are organizing and supporting the race. The church with the most participants receives an award, as well as "bragging rights" among their peers. Fleet Feet and New Balance shoes are offering a free pair of New Balance shoes to anyone participating in the 5K run who raises $1,000 or more for the children of the TBCH. Anyone participating in the Kid's One Mile Race (9 years and under) who raises $250 or more for the children will also receive a new pair of New Balance shoes. Every run participant will receive a free tee shirt and a goody bag. Prizes will be awarded for overall male and overall female runners in both the 5K and the Kid's One Mile races. First place winners will also be awarded for the Master (40 & over) male and female runners. First, second and third places are being awarded in various age categories including the kids. Everyone participating in the Kids One Mile run receives a ribbon. Runners may register to participate on line at www.tnrun4kids.org or pick up a registration form at Fleet Feet in the Brentwood Kroger Shopping Center shopping center, a concentration of retail, service, and entertainment enterprises designed to serve the surrounding region. The modern shopping center differs from its antecedents—bazaars and marketplaces—in that the shops are usually amalgamated into on Franklin Road. Early registration is $15 before May 6 or $20 day of race. The Tennessee Baptist Children's Homes, Inc. can provide care and housing on its Brentwood campus for 39 children and youth in 8 cottages that are home to 6 children and youth each. Part of a statewide network of care, the Brentwood campus is also the State Office of TBCH. While offering care to at-risk children and youth from every background, the TBCH accepts no government funding and receives 100% of its support from charitable gifts and fund raising events such as the Run4Kids. 100% of the proceeds from this May 14th event will go to support the children and youth of the Brentwood campus of TBCH located at 1310 Franklin Road.
