3i Infotech's ORION(TM)Enterprise Provides Fiberglass Coatings with an Integrated Platform Across Growing Operations.

EDISON, N.J. -- 3i Infotech, a global provider of information technology solutions, today announced that Fiberglass Coatings has selected ORION ERP to consolidate financial reporting and to provide an integrated platform across its business operations.

A provider and distributor of fiberglass composites, Florida-based Fiberglass Coatings required a software solution to meet the needs of the composite industry, such as the intricacies of hazardous materials regulations and integrated tracking of product movement from initial warehouse receipt to customer delivery through shippers, their own trucks or walk-in sales. With its previous solution, Fiberglass Coatings operated as four individual business units, each with its own balance sheets and profit and loss statements, which made reporting difficult and time consuming.

By integrating ORION Enterprise, the company will centralize functions such as purchasing, procurement and accounting across operations to enable business units to report as one company. As a result of the implementation, Fiberglass Coatings expects enterprise-wide visibility across operations, resulting in increased productivity and cost savings.
