WHAT a difference a change of outfit makes.

Divas Christina Aguilera and Rihanna looked like butter wouldn't melt in their mouths as they posed for photographers in their posh frocks outside the American Music Awards in LA.

But once inside, all fetish hell broke loose, with Christina per forming in a racy lacy bodice - while Rihanna turned heads and dropped jaws with a skin-tight Latex effort.

Not wishing to be outdone, Beyonce took to the stage wearing knickers, a monochrome top, and hooker-style hair extensions.

Formula One world champ Lewis Hamilton turned up in a sober suit with his lady-like girlfriend Nicole Scherzinger.

And then got all revved up with the rest of the crowd - including Leona Lewis and Pink, who opted for old-school glamour - as she performed in a sexy catsuit with the rest of the Pussycat Dolls.

She really is a claw unto herself.
