3am: George ain't a retiring type.

Byline: Clemmie Moodie & Danielle Lawler

THE shortest retirement in showbiz history is coming to an end in spectacular fashion.

Just six weeks after George Michael closed the curtain on the most recent of his "final" shows, the singer's announced he is off to the Middle East for a musical extravaganza.

So much for the quiet life... But we suppose a EUR EUR

In currencies, this is the abbreviation for the Euro.

Notes:
The currency market, also known as the Foreign Exchange market, is the largest financial market in the world, with a daily average volume of over US $1 trillion.
1million is enough to coax most people off their backsides.

The ex-Wham! star has already had three " final" shows and now he is to perform at an ultra-exclusive bash in Abu Dhabi Abu Dhabi (ä`b thä`bē, zä–, dä–), Arab. Abu Zabi, sheikhdom (1995 pop. 928,360), c.  next month. The gig is to be held at the EUR375billion Emirate e·mir·ate
n.
1. The office of an emir.

2. The nation or territory ruled by an emir.

Noun 1. emirate - the domain controlled by an emir
Palace Hotel with tickets likely to be selling at more than EUR250 a pop.

And as well as pocketing a cheque fit for a prince, George will be living it up like a Sultan of Bling.

He will be put up in one of the hotel's deluxe suites, decorated in gold leaf and marble and equipped with a 61-inch plasma screen, Swarovski crystal chandeliers and 24-hour butler service.

Sounds lovely. If only they could find a way of moving Hampstead Heath to the Middle East, George really would be in heaven.
