"We are very excited about working with 3M and expanding our marketplace to include High Frequency (HF) RFID solutions," said Nicholas Chavez, President of RFID, LTD. "There is a tremendous need to move our paper-document-based customers toward a Radio Frequency Identification See RFID.  (RFID) document tracking solution and steer them away from the time intensive physical-sort or bar-coding methods."

RFID technology does not need "line of sight" and therefore can read tags through some physical obstructions from a greater distance, making helping to make file locating and inventorying faster and easier.

"RFID, LTD. appears to be uniquely qualified to represent 3M to the U.S. Government, given their protected HUBZone status which allows them to act as a 'sole-source' supplier for Federal contracts up to $2 Million. We are very pleased to be working with them," said Joal Storm, Marketing Manager 3M Track and Trace Solutions.
