3GSM: CoreMedia Extends Its Multi-DRM Platform with Support for Embedded Audio Watermarking for Mobile and Fixed-Line Services.

CoreMedia supports the leading Watermarking technology by MusicTrace, a successful Fraunhofer Institute spin-off. With embedded Watermarking it is possible to transmit audio files like MP3s with additional un-removable and imperceptible information, e.g. a transaction number - wireless or fixed line.

With this addition, CoreMedia offers a smart, open and unbeaten interoperable technology for secure end-to-end content distribution. CoreMedia now complements DRM technology for OMA (1) See Object Management Architecture.
