3Dsolve Inc., The Simulation Learning Company, announced that it has been awarded a $1.83 million contract, working with lead contractor Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) to develop the US Army Training and Doctrine Command's first Level IV Interactive Multimedia Instruction (IMI), the most advanced form of such instruction. Under the contract, 3Dsolve will develop a set of advanced simulations and supporting software for desktop computers that will form the basis of the 167 hours of hands-on instruction required for the US Army Signal Center's entry-level Information Systems Operator-Analyst course, MOS (Military Occupational Specialty) 74B10. The contract is the largest yet for 3Dsolve and represents an important validation of its strategic vision and technical skills.

Today's soldiers face demands that often make it impossible for them to dedicate sufficient time to traditional classroom training. 3Dsolve will enable the US Army Signal Center to deliver training to soldiers whenever they need it and wherever they may be, whether in the US or deployed around the world. 3Dsolve's simulation learning technology will set the standard for all future Level IV Interactive Multimedia Instruction at the US Army Signal Center.

For maximum realism and interactivity, the courseware will replicate real-life lab exercises, including the simulation of operating and troubleshooting complex networking hardware and software within a simulated Digital Tactical Operations Center.

3Dsolve and CSC expect to deliver the final version of the 74B10 courseware to the Signal School in the fourth quarter of 2004.
