About the Wildcat III 6210 and Wildcat III 6110

Wildcat III technology, the latest generation of 3Dlabs' award-winning Wildcat technology, once again raises the standard for performance, with the Wildcat III 6210 posting scores up to 244 percent faster than its nearest competitor on the Solid Edge V10 SPECapc Graphics test.

The Wildcat III 6210 offers a total of 416 MB of on-board memory -- the first-ever AGP (Accelerated Graphics Port) A high-speed 32-bit port from Intel for attaching a display adapter to a PC. It provides a direct connection between the card and memory, and only one AGP slot is on the motherboard.  add-in board to offer this capacity. The Wildcat III 6110 offers an impressive 208 MB total on-board memory, including twice the texture memory of current Wildcat II graphics accelerators. Users enjoy the full advantage of this huge memory capacity because of the Wildcat III's increased memory bandwidth, which is double that of Wildcat II products.
