), d/b/a C-3D Digital Inc., has announced that 3D.COM (1) (Computer Output Microfilm) Creating microfilm or microfiche from the computer. A COM machine receives print-image output from the computer either online or via tape or disk and creates a film image of each page. , its Internet and computer software division, has recently released Strata 3Dpro 3.0; a powerful, Web-enabled 3D graphics tool that allows multimedia designers to create 3D models, images, animations and live Web content.

In the first month of shipment, the Strata 3Dpro 3.0 release boosted 3D.COM's September sales to over $250,000. This upgrade greatly supports the 3D.COM Internet division with its efforts to increase revenue and operate at break even or profitably.

The new version of Strata 3Dpro includes enhancements in modeling, rendering, animation, and texturing and is available for both Windows and Macintosh operating environments. This software release strengthens 3D.COM's connection to Internet based 3D multimedia presentation. Additional features such as Cult3D export capability and stereoscopic stereoscopic /ster·eo·scop·ic/ (ster?e-o-skop´ik) having the effect of a stereoscope; giving objects a solid or three-dimensional appearance.
