3D Systems Opens New Global Headquarters.

Rock Hill South Carolina Facility Combines Corporate Functions, Principal R&D Activities and All Key Support Functions

ROCK HILL, S.C. -- 3D Systems Corporation (NASDAQ: TDSC), a leading provider of rapid 3-D Printing, Prototyping and Manufacturing solutions, announced today that it has opened its new state-of-the-art 80,000 square foot global headquarters and R&D facility in Rock Hill, South Carolina.

The successful move to this facility, which we concluded over the past weekend, represents a significant milestone for our company," said Abe Reichental, 3D Systems' president and chief executive officer. In keeping with its commitment to leadership through technology, 3D Systems' new facility features numerous high-tech research and development laboratories. An 18,000 square foot advanced Rapid Manufacturing Center (RMC) featuring 3D Systems' comprehensive Rapid Prototyping, Rapid Manufacturing and 3-D Printing portfolio of systems solutions is the focal point of its new facility.

To bolster interaction and creativity, 3D Systems created throughout its building inviting meeting areas to encourage informal communication and large, open, flexible and mobile work spaces with an organic neighborhood feeling.

As a result of the completion of its plan to consolidate its main functions in the new headquarters, 3D Systems substantially discontinued the use of its Valencia, California and Grand Junction, Colorado facilities.

"We are also pleased to report that several days ago, we entered into an agreement to sell our Grand Junction facility for a cash purchase price of $7 million, which is far in excess of its net book value," stated Reichental. "We expect that the potential buyer of this great 66,000 square foot facility will satisfy certain customary conditions and conclude the sale in early 2007.

"We are deeply grateful to the City of Rock Hill, the Rock Hill Economic Development Corporation, York Technical College and Winthrop University for their outstanding cooperation and assistance during our relocation to their community.
