3D SYSTEMS REPORTS STRONG GROWTH IN '96.

3D Systems Corp. reported Thursday second-quarter income that showed a growth of 27 percent over last year's second-quarter revenue.

The publicly held company's net income for the quarter ending June 30 was $801,068 or 7 cents per share Cents per share

For the first six months of 1996, the company reported $37.7 million in sales, compared to $28.3 million for the same period last year, a growth of 33 percent. Last year, net income benefited from a low tax rate of 6 percent, due to tax loss carry-forwards, compared to 40 percent this year.
