3D/I Starts Construction on New Hospital and Clinic for Lakewood Health System.

STAPLES, Minn. -- 3D/I recently began construction on a new hospital and clinic for Lakewood Health System in Staples, Minnesota. The new three-level hospital and clinic will include a glass wall area that will reveal a view of the nearby wetlands and garden. The facility will include an emergency room, clinic, cafeteria, outpatient area, physical therapy, pharmacy, surgical suites and 25 patient beds.

An October groundbreaking marked the start of construction for this 147,250 square foot facility with site work beginning on October 13. Bids will be let in the near future with building completion anticipated for the summer of 2006.

3D/I construction management team members for this project are Kevin Becker as senior project manager, Wade Cole as field construction manager and Bob Struve as the officer-in-charge.
