 recently began construction on a new hospital and clinic for Lakewood Health System in Staples, Minnesota Staples is a city in Todd County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 3,104 at the 2000 census. A part of Staples extends into Wadena County. Staples is perhaps best known in Minnesota as the hometown of Minnesota Twins TV broadcaster Dick Bremer. . The new three-level hospital and clinic will include a glass wall area that will reveal a view of the nearby wetlands and garden. The facility will include an emergency room, clinic, cafeteria cafeteria: see restaurant. , outpatient area, physical therapy, pharmacy pharmacy, art of compounding and dispensing drugs and medication.
