) today announced that they have entered into an alliance to provide best-in-class secure converged communications for enterprise customers. The agreement between the two companies enables customers to benefit from Philips' broad communications portfolio supported by 3Com's proven portfolio of edge-to-core networking, security, wireless and network management solutions. The alliance will initially be rolled out in Europe, Middle East, Africa and Latin America Latin America, the Spanish-speaking, Portuguese-speaking, and French-speaking countries (except Canada) of North America, South America, Central America, and the West Indies. .
