3Com Hires Neal Oristano as Vice President Sales, Americas.

) announced the appointment of Neal Oristano as its vice president, Americas sales, effective today. Oristano will report directly to Nick Ganio, executive vice president Worldwide Sales, 3Com. Based at 3Com's Marlborough, Mass. headquarters, Oristano will lead 3Com's Americas sales organization, which includes Canada, the U.S. and Latin America Latin America, the Spanish-speaking, Portuguese-speaking, and French-speaking countries (except Canada) of North America, South America, Central America, and the West Indies. .

Neal Oristano's last position was vice president sales, Americas with Unisphere Networks Unisphere Networks was a leading networking equipment manufacturer founded in 1998 and later acquired by Juniper Networks in June of 2002. Unipshere was inititally comprised of three other key networking equipment manufacturers:
, Inc. where he was responsible for maintaining customer satisfaction and growing business within the Americas. Prior to his time with Unisphere, Oristano was the vice president, worldwide service provider sales at Lucent Technologies.

Oristano began his career at AT&T Corporation where he served for 8 years, and left as director of global accounts. Following AT&T, Oristano held other executive title roles increasing his experience in direct and indirect channel sales with Cisco Systems “Cisco” redirects here.
