) today announced the appointment of George Everhart as senior vice president, Worldwide Sales, effective today. In his new position, Everhart is responsible for the worldwide sales organization. Everhart, 53, will join 3Com's Executive Committee, reporting directly to 3Com President and Chief Operating Officer Chief Operating Officer (COO)
