) today announced Mehmet Balos as vice president, global marketing, reporting to Dennis Connors, executive vice president, worldwide operations, effective immediately.

Based at 3Com's corporate headquarters in Marlborough, Mass., Mehmet will create a comprehensive marketing strategy around 3Com products and solutions to drive sales in the enterprise networking The networking infrastructure in a large enterprise with multiple computer systems and networks of different types is extraordinarily complex.
