THEIR recent pub bust-up sparked rumours that it might soon be all over for Razorlight. But bandmates Johnny Borrell and Andy Burrows Burrows is a provincial electoral division in the Canadian province of Manitoba. It was created by redistribution in 1957, and formally came into existence in the provincial election of 1958. In an exclusive interview with 3am, they slammed reports of an imminent split, said the scrap was part of a "highly amusing evening" and that things couldn't be better.

Calling us from their tour dressing room in Swindon last night, Johnny said: "The fight was nothing. I'm sitting here right now in the best band in the world, with the best drummer in the world.

"In fact, Andy Burrows is the greatest in the whole of rock 'n' roll and if there's a better one, I don't believe it. Yes, we have our fall-outs but I love him like a brother."

We revealed how the pair had a fight in which they had to be pulled apart after the Vodafone Live Music Awards. And there was rumoured to be more unrest in the camp after Johnny, 26, performed solo at a corporate bash last week.

But last night he insisted: "Razorlight are well and truly on course. The Blackberry gig was just a bit of fun and nothing to worry about." He stressed: "We are playing this amazing a·maze

Drummer Andy, 27, also wanted to tell us how things stand. "Me and Johnny are very close and that's all there is to it. It's wicked between us at the moment. We are having the time of our life."

The band have enjoyed a fruitful few months, with their excellent single America getting to No.1 and their album still riding high at No.3. They're also on course to take next year's Brits by storm.

But all eyes are currently on their tour and we're told the boys played a storming gig in Wiltshire last night.

"We're concentrating on the shows at the moment and they are scarily large," says Andy. "We have to scarper afterwards, so there are no groupies or shenanigans shenanigans
