3AM: KAISER BEEFS; Oxegen VIP ACCESS ALL AREAS.

Byline: Eva Simpson & Caroline Hedley

WE predict a riot next time the Kaiser Chiefs cross paths with rock rivals Kasabian.

The bands had to be kept apart by security at the Oxegen festival in Dublin when Kasabian singer Tom Meighan threatened to smack Kaisers frontman front·man

  • Ricky Wilson (American musician), guitarist of The B-52's
  • Ricky Wilson (British musician), singer of Kaiser Chiefs
  • Ricky Wilson (basketball), former NBA player
after his group branded Kasabian "sh**" in an interview.

Tom fumed to us: "The next time I see Ricky I'm going to punch him in the face. I can't believe the Kaiser Chiefs dissed us - they are ones to talk."

Hearing of the threat, Ricky - recovering from a leg injury after a hit-and-run - apparently spent the day cowering cow·er

 in a corner.

Seems Tom doesn't take kindly to insults, but he'll dish them out. He recently said: "All of these bands around at the moment are sh** and nobody will give a f*** in 20 years' time."

Say what you really think, love.
