OH really Britney Spears - didn't you go before you left?

The Oops! I Did It Again singer had set off for a lunch meeting at Beverly Hills' Bel-Air Hotel but was caught short on the way.

So the 23-year-old, wearing a rather tatty pale blue dress and sandals, was forced to snatch an unglamorous pit stop - at a petrol station in Brentwood, California.

With a burly bodyguard looking on, the blonde star struggled with the lavatory door before dashing inside.

Perhaps poor Brits was itching to attend to her spotty tootsies.

The star's ankles were covered in a nasty-looking rash - get some ointment, love, or wear socks.

Following her toilet trauma, Brit hit the road again.

After lunch the star headed out to Santa Monica's Babystyle shop which sells outfits for mums-to-be and clothes for infants.

Inside she changed into tracky bottoms, trainers and a pink T-shirt, looking much more relaxed as she had a good browse.
