39th Design Automation Conference Attracts More Than 9,500 Attendees.

BOULDER, Colo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 18, 2002

) today announced that more than 9,500 designers, engineers, managers, industry analysts, scholars and exhibitors from leading global companies and universities attended the technical conference held in New Orleans New Orleans (ôr`lēənz –lənz, ôrlēnz`), city (2006 pop. 187,525), coextensive with Orleans parish, SE La., between the Mississippi River and Lake Pontchartrain, 107 mi (172 km) by water from the river mouth; founded  last week. Of this number, more than 4,300 attended the technical program, workshops, tutorials and exhibits.
