Mustaf Jama Mustaf Jama (born 1980 in Somalia) is a Somalian criminal, suspected of involvement in the murder of British policewoman Sharon Beshenivsky. Mustaf Jama is the older brother of the convicted Somalian-born British-based murderer, Yusuf Jama. , one of a gang that raided a Bradford travel agent in November 2005, will serve a minimum 35 years. As the guilty verdict was announced at Newcastle crown court, widower Paul hugged his late wife's partner PC Teresa Milburn, who was injured in the attack. PC Beshenivsky, 38, a mother of three, was shot as she and PC Milburn answered an alarm call. After the killing, Mustaf Jama, 29, who denied murder and firearms charges, fled to his native Somalia. Britain deemed it too dangerous to enter the failed state, so agreed to pay armed Somalis. Jama was snatched from his Land Rover at a roadblock in October 2007. He first went on trial in January but the jury failed to reach a verdict.
