Background:

Ameriquest Mortgage Co., a leading national mortgage company, is endorsing the 343 Memorial Climb to benefit firefighters and their families. Named in honor of the 343 firefighters who were lost in the World Trade Center disaster on September 11, 2001, the 343 Memorial Climb will feature a 154-flight stair climb and a firefighter relay race, which will be held at Ameriquest Field in Arlington. The stair climb is open to people of all ages and a donation of any amount is all that is required to participate.

The renowned "We the People" banner featuring a photo of the World Trade Center and signatures from firefighters, government dignitaries and city officials will be on display. The banner has toured 48 states to date and will be donated to The Smithsonian.

Purpose:

The money raised from the firefighter's memorial will benefit two organizations - the Firefighters National Trust (FNT FNT Font (File Name Extension)
