33 BANDS, OTHER ENTRIES TO PARADE IN LANCASTER.

The Lancaster Chamber of Commerce will sponsor its annual holiday parade on Saturday through downtown Lancaster.

 competition at Antelope Valley High School Antelope Valley High School is located in Lancaster, California and is part of the Antelope Valley Union High School District. It was founded in 1912[1]. It is located in the Mojave Desert. , more than 30 bands from elementary, middle and high schools as far away as Corona will march in the parade.

``They'll participate in the parade review, then all go up to Antelope Valley High School for the field tournament,'' chamber official Ramon Ortega said.

The parade will step off at 9 a.m. at 10th Street West and Lancaster Boulevard. It will run along the boulevard to Division Street. Because of the parade, downtown streets will be closed to traffic for most of Saturday morning, so organizers suggested motorists use alternate routes.

Along with the 33 school bands, the parade will feature 18 floats, nine auto groups, Scout units, cheerleaders Notable cheerleaders
