32 YOUNG WOMEN RIVALS FOR ROSE QUEEN HONOR.Byline: - By Janette Williams The 32 survivors of a selection process that started out three weeks ago with almost 1,000 Rose Court candidates posed confidently for the cameras on the steps of Tournament House on Thursday. At least one, Luani K. Lee of Polytechnic High School in Pasadena, has had some practice. ``When she was about 7, she wrote a letter to Santa which perplexed me,'' recalled her mother, Kay Garth-Lee. ``It said `Dear Santa Dear Santa was a Christmas TV special that aired December 9, 2005 on Fox and November 28, 2006 on ABC Family.
