Kronos(R) Incorporated (Nasdaq: KRON KRON Knowledge Representation Oriented Nets ) today announced that it has completed a successful upgrade to the Workforce Central(R) suite for the workforce of Interstate Bakeries Corporation Interstate Bakeries Corporation (IBC) (Pink Sheets: IBCIQ) or Interstate Brands Corporation was the largest wholesale baker and distributor of fresh bakery products in the United States, and is the owner of the Hostess, Wonder Bread, Dolly Madison, Butternut Breads, and Drake's  (IBC IBC International Building Code

The Kronos and SAP implementations are part of an initiative that IBC calls System Optimization And Reengineering (SOAR), which is focused on re-engineering IBC's business processes to increase efficiency; and on rationalizing IBC's investment in production, distribution, and administrative functionality to reduce the ongoing cost of supporting these infrastructures. The Kronos component of the initiative gives IBC a centralized, stable system to capture hours for employees in order to ease the SAP payroll set up and interface.
