3-in-one cylindrical grinder.

The GU5R cylindrical grinder Cylindrical grinders are a class of grinding machines used on the work pieces that are symmetrical about an axis of rotation (e.g. cylindrical). Types of Cylindrical Grinders
OD grinder
is a three-in-one universal machine. The wheelhead supports three grinding wheels and rotates between straight, angle, and ID grinding without changing the part setup. A cartridge-style spindle spindle: see spinning.

A rotating shaft in a disk drive. In a fixed disk, the platters are attached to the spindle. In a removable disk, the spindle remains in the drive. Laptops use spindle designations to indicate the number of built-in drives.
accommodates up to six different wheel arrangements. All accommodate straight and angle grinding wheels up to O510 mm (20"), even when both OD wheels ale on the same side of the wheelhead. Automatic swivel table rotates from 0 to 10 degrees via NC motor. The single, fixed dressing point for all three wheels is on the traverse table (Naut. & Surv.) A table by means of which the difference of latitude and departure corresponding to any given course and distance may be found by inspection. It contains the lengths of the two sides of a right-angled triangle, usually for every quarter of a degree of angle, and for , so it doesn't need to be repositioned regardless of tailstock location, part diameter, or swivel table angle. Floating plate mechanism absorbs run-out of the teed screw, ensuring high-accuracy, simultaneous feed of both axes axes

[L., Gr.] plural of axis. The straight lines which intersect at right angles and on which graphs are drawn. Usually the horizontal axis is the x-axis and the vertical one the y-axis. Called also axes of reference.
