3 restaurants shut down, adding to string of closings.


The list of northwest Arkansas restaurant closings continues to grow as 2007 draws to a close.

In a corporate move, Eateries Inc. of Edmond, Okla., closed the Garfield's Restaurant & Pub in the Northwest Arkansas Mall. Jeff Bishop, senior property manager for Midwest Mall Properties, said the closing was not specific to the mall and that Eateries Inc. shut down a number of stores in the Midwest.

In Bentonville, Mama Fu's Asian House Mama Fu's Asian House is an American "fast casual" restaurant franchised by Raving Brands. It offers a variety of Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Chinese, and Japanese food.  and Moe's Southwest Grill Moe's Southwest Grill is an American chain of "fast casual" Fresh Mex restaurants originally franchised by Raving Brands in the style of Tex-Mex or Fresh Mex. The restaurant is characterized by warm colors, music from the 1950s to the 1980s, freshly prepared food, and menu items  on Walton Boulevard have closed, joining Brioso Brazil as dining casualties in the city during 2007.

 city tax receipts. It did $645,200 in sales during 2006.

Other area closings for the year include O'Charley's, Smokey Bones, Fuddruckers, Chloe and Cool Water Cafe in Fayetteville and Lone Star Lone Star (or Lonestar) may refer to:
  • Lone Star Flag, the official flag of the State of Texas
  • The Lone Star State, an official nickname for the State of Texas; derived from the flag
 Steakhouse in Springdale.
