3 NEW HOTELS. The capital, Managua Managua (mänä`gwä), city (1995 pop. 819,731), W Nicaragua, capital and largest city of Nicaragua, on the southern shore of Lake Managua. Jose Enrique Solorzano, manager of the Holiday Inn operations, also in the capital, said the new hotel of the same brand belongs to other investors. It is a Salvadoran group and I think it's a Holiday Inn Express, a bed and breakfast. Rgarding the other two projects, he added that one will be located in the center of Managua and the other "has not yet had its location confirmed."
